Dressage: Thursday & Friday

Dressage is the foundation of eventing, showcasing the horse’s obedience, balance, and suppleness through precise movements. As the first phase of competition, a strong dressage score sets riders up for success in cross-country and show jumping.
Accuracy, rhythm, and connection are key, with every movement judged on fluidity and correctness. Mastering dressage enhances performance across all phases, making it a vital skill for any eventer aiming for top scores.

Cross-Country: Saturday & Sunday

Cross-country is the thrilling heart of eventing, testing a horse and rider’s bravery, endurance, and precision over varied terrain and solid obstacles. As the second phase, it challenges competitors with technical combinations, water jumps, ditches, and banks, all while racing against the clock.
Success in cross-country requires bold riding, strategic pacing, and trust between horse and rider.
You will be right at heart the action on Saturday and Sunday as you walk around the beautiful grounds and watch the thrilling cross-country, trade stands and food stands around the main arena.

Show Jumping: Saturday & Sunday

Show jumping is the final phase of eventing, where accuracy, agility, and control are put to the test. Riders navigate a timed course of colorful fences, combinations, and tight turns, aiming for a clear round to avoid costly penalties.
With tired horses after cross-country, balance, rhythm, and precision are key to finishing strong. A fault-free round can secure a top placing or shake up the leaderboard.
