Day two is over so the dressage arenas have been cleared away and final preparations are underway for Cross Country tomorrow.
We had a very busy day, with dressage and showjumping for all the CIC classes, so lots of action and tonnes of paperwork!
We saw some wonderful dressage tests, along with the occasional ‘disobedient’ moment (it wouldn’t be dressage without the odd buck, would it?).
The showjumping track was testing but we saw lots of lovely rounds today. The track was built around the cross country Dray fence and we’re sure the sight of that has both horses and riders buzzing with anticipation about tomorrow….
Do come and join us to enjoy the spectacle – some of the best riders in the world jumping some of the biggest fences you will ever see!

CICO3* - Nations Cup Team Competition
All the British and Irish team riders had clear showjumping rounds today. The British team leads overnight though, thanks to some impressive dressage displays today. France was in 2nd place after dressage but some poles down in the showjumping arena this afternoon moved them down to 3rd so the Irish team is in 2nd heading out cross country tomorrow. It’s still all to play for so we’ll keep you posted!
Overnight standings (best three scores) – GBR: 129.2, IRL: 147.1, FRA: 147.7

The top four in this class had clear showjumping rounds, so finished the day on their dressage scores. The top of this leader board is close enough for time to be a factor tomorrow so keep a close watch – blink and you might miss them!
Izzy Taylor (GBR) leads on 40.1, with KBIS Starchaser. Emilie Chandler (GBR) is close behind on 40.6, with Gino Royale and Ireland’s Sarah Ennis heads out with a score of 43.2 (Horseware Stellor Rebound).

Quite a few poles hit the ground today in this class but the top 8 riders went clear to stay on their dressage scores. Our overnight leader is Harold Megahey, who finished today on 48.6, with Vanir Hello Duca. Michelle Kenny is less than a point behind, on 48.9 (Euralia A) and Melanie Wrynn is 3rd overnight, on 51.1, with Annaghmore Ardeo.

Killossery Kredit Krunch gave Nicola Ennis a lovely dressage test and a clear showjumping round, so she heads out tomorrow in the lead (43.0). An unlucky pole down for DHI Okey Cokey moved Sarah Ennis from 2nd to 4th this afternoon but her other ride, Westwinds Karlos, had a clear round, so moved up to 3rd (47.3). In 2nd place overnight, it’s Camilla Speirs (45.8), with Goldman.
CICJ1*
A very nice dressage test meant that Robbie Kearns and Garrybritt Bonny held onto the top spot, despite a pole down this afternoon, so they head out tomorrow on a score of 52.1 The chasers are Arianne Finlay (Miss MJ – 54.3) and Ciaran Gaffney (Vigo Sun Light – 61.2) in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
CICP1*
The top 4 pony riders had clear rounds this evening but Mr. Hale Bob did the nicest dressage test so Mary Smiddy is the one to beat tomorrow (42.1). Trying to do just that will be Zara Nelson (2nd, Millridge Buachaill Bui, 47.2), Lucy Hancock (=3rd, Newtown Westie 51.8) and Isabel Persse (=3rd, Mr. Blueskies, 51.8)
Hope you all have a great run tomorrow!
